Matthew Cole

Matthew Cole is an experienced embedded software architect currently working at Lightmatter, where the focus is on designing software systems for future AI infrastructure. Prior to this role, Matthew served as Director of Embedded Systems at RISE Robotics, managing teams in motor control and reusable system software development. At Superpedestrian, Matthew successfully led multi-disciplinary teams through hardware introductions for light electric vehicles and facilitated a significant acquisition. Additional roles include Senior Embedded Software Engineer at ClearMotion, where Matthew contributed to developing the world's first marketable fully-active suspension system, and various positions at companies like Broadcom, Crossbeam Systems, and Pirus Networks. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
