Pavel Yakovlev

Pavel Yakovlev is a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Lightship since April 2024 and has previous experience as a Manufacturing Engineer at Airtech Advanced Materials Group from March 2021 to May 2023. Prior to that, Pavel worked as a Design Engineer 2 at Safran, contributing to significant projects like the Irkut MS-21, COMAC C919, Airbus A350, and Airbus A220 from September 2016 to September 2020. His early career includes roles as a Design Engineer at C&D Zodiac, where Pavel was involved with the Bombardier C Series and Irkut MS-21, and as a Designer and Manufacturer on a senior project team during 2010. Additionally, Pavel has hands-on experience as a Lifeguard and Co-op Engineer, focusing on assembly engineering and Lean Manufacturing principles. Pavel obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and studied at Munich University of Applied Sciences.
