Maik Schmidt

Maik Schmidt is a highly skilled machine learning engineer with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and software engineering. Currently serving as a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at LILT AI since June 2025, Maik specializes in developing trusted AI solutions for critical translation needs across speech, video, and text for both businesses and government. Prior experience includes a role as Senior MLOps Engineer at Merantix Momentum from October 2022 to May 2025, where Maik facilitated the integration of AI across various industries.
