Thanh Nguyen

Thanh Nguyen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Thanh began their career as a System Software Engineer at Honeywell Information Systems, where they worked on Multics OS and later transitioned to the DMIV Transaction Processing development engineering group. Thanh then moved on to work as a Principal Software Engineer at Bull HN Information Systems before joining Stratus Technologies as a Unix System Engineer. At Stratus Technologies, they analyzed kernel and application cores to determine root cause and provided solutions for customer-reported problems. Thanh then became a Fault Tolerant uniX (FTX) Software Engineer at Stratus Computer Inc, where they analyzed kernel core dumps of FTX and worked on file systems, utilities, and communication protocols. Thanh continued this role at Stratus Technologies, where they also went on-site for critical missions and provided solutions for major problems. Most recently, Thanh worked as a Unix Software Engineer at Stratus Technologies, where they kept Linux releases up to date with updates and dealt with problems with Linux drivers. Thanh also has experience as a Software Engineer at Limelight Networks.

Thanh Nguyen attended Arizona State University from 1980 to 1991, where they obtained a BSE degree in Computer System Engineering. During their time there, they studied various subjects including Computer Science, Operating System, Microprocessor Design, and Engineering Core.
