Thaya Uthayophas serves as the Group DPO and Senior Privacy Counsel at LINE MAN Wongnai, where responsibilities include leading the Data Privacy team across multiple companies in the LMWN Group and overseeing legal compliance related to data protection. Thaya has extensive experience in data privacy law, having previously worked as a Legal Associate and DPO at Weerawong, Chinnavat & Partners, where contributions included ensuring compliance for various public and private enterprises. Thaya is also actively involved with the Clear and Create Foundation, advising start-ups and social enterprises. Academic achievements include fellowships at Harvard University and Brown University, coupled with a study abroad program at the University of Oxford, highlighting a robust educational background in philosophy, politics, and economics, as well as law.
