Samuel Black

Samuel Black is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in automation and controls engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Electrical Automation Engineer at Jack Link's Protein Snacks since July 2023, Samuel has previously held the role of Senior Controls Engineer at Boston Scientific from May 2022 to July 2023. Prior experience includes a position as Project Engineer at Electric Machine Control Inc from January 2017 to September 2021, focusing on project design, construction, startup, and maintenance in various sectors such as municipal system control and SCADA management. Samuel began their career at Electric Machine Control, Inc. where roles included Electrical Engineer from June 2013 to January 2017, and an Electrical Engineering Intern in 2012. Additionally, experience at the University of Minnesota involved providing computer support for faculty and staff. Samuel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Minnesota, completed in 2013.
