William McKIE has a diverse work experience in software engineering and embedded systems. William is currently employed at Linxo as a Software Engineer since December 2021. Previously, they worked at Traxens as an Embedded Software Engineer, where they contributed to the development of the second generation TRAXENS-BOX for container tracking. At Extia, they served as an Embedded Software Engineer at SFR, working on the eighth generation DSL gateway, and also as a Consulting Engineer, gaining experience in various embedded systems projects. Prior to that, William worked as a C++ Software Engineer at IMPIKA, focusing on improving image quality in industrial printers. William also had a role as an Embedded Software Engineer at Wyplay, where they worked on projects related to Digital Video Broadcast (DVB) technology. William started their career as a Software Engineer Intern at Onecub, a French startup specializing in personal data management.
William McKie has a strong educational background in Computer Science. William earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from Université du Littoral Côte d'Opale, completing their studies from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Licentiate degree in Computer Science from the same university, studying from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, William has obtained certifications to further enhance their knowledge and skills. William completed a course on Database Foundations: Intro to Databases through LinkedIn in September 2021.
