Dana Langley

Dana Langley is an experienced animal care professional currently serving as Primate Curator at Lion Country Safari since July 2023. Prior roles include Chimpanzee Keeper III at Save the Chimps, Inc. (May 2018 - July 2023) and Animal Keeper at Chimp Haven, Inc. (May 2017 - April 2018). Dana's experience began as a Veterinary Assistant at Okemos Animal Hospital (July 2016 - April 2017) and includes a decade-long tenure as Executive Assistant at the American Heart Association (January 2007 - March 2016), where event logistics and volunteer management were key responsibilities. Dana's educational background features a Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology/Animal Biology from Michigan State University and professional training in animal care from San Diego Zoo Global Academy. Additionally, a study abroad experience focused on the behavioral ecology of African mammals was completed in Kenya.
