Mariam Tsanava has a diverse work experience in various roles within the marketing and branding field. Mariam is currently working as a Brand Marketing Lead at Bank of Georgia. Previously, they co-founded Upway Georgia in 2021 and served as the Chief Brand Officer at VELI.store from 2022 to 2023. Mariam also worked as an Assistant Professor and Masters Thesis Coach at Business and Technology University from 2019 to 2022. Additionally, Mariam had experience as a Marketer for TBC Bank's Affluent Business Tribe, where they led a successful rebranding project. Mariam has also worked as a Visiting Lecturer at Caucasus University and Ilia State University. In the past, they worked in marketing roles for Mobile Systems International, Philip Morris International, and Bank Republic Societe Generale Group.
Mariam Tsanava obtained a Master's degree in Marketing from EAE Business School in 2017-2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Caucasus University from 2011 to 2015. In 2014, Mariam briefly attended the University of New York in Prague, focusing on Mass Communication/Media Studies. Additionally, they obtained a certification as an Associate professional in digital marketing from the European Marketing and Management Association in May 2021.
