Jim Packer

Jim Packer serves as President of Worldwide TV and Digital Distribution at Lionsgate since February 2011, overseeing global distribution across TV and digital platforms, including SVOD services and cloud-based delivery. Prior to Lionsgate, Jim held several key positions at MGM Studios from 2001 to 2011, including Co-President Worldwide TV, where notable achievements included launching the MGM Channels Group and revitalizing MGM's worldwide television and digital distribution after Sony's involvement. Jim's career began at The Walt Disney Company, where roles spanned from Senior Vice President General Sales Manager for Buena Vista TV to various positions at The Walt Disney Studios. Jim earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Colorado Boulder’s Leeds School of Business.
