Michael Frisby

Michael Frisby is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in entertainment law. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Business Affairs/Legal Affairs at Lionsgate since March 2020, Frisby previously held the position of Of Counsel at Gerard Fox Law and operated a personal law practice focused on music, television, and motion pictures. With a career spanning over four decades, Frisby held various influential roles, including VP of Business/Legal Affairs at Sony Pictures Music Group, where responsibilities included managing music intellectual property rights across multiple Sony Pictures divisions. Frisby co-founded two entertainment law firms and began legal practice as an attorney at Strote & Whitehouse. Frisby earned a Juris Doctor from Harvard University Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Howard University.
