Neehal Tumma

Neehal Tumma is a Machine Learning Scientist at Liquid AI since March 2024, with prior experience as a Research Assistant at the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory from January 2023 to February 2024, focusing on the dynamics of recurrent neural networks. Earlier roles include a Quantitative Research Intern at Citadel in summer 2022, where a model was developed to forecast spread costs in equities, and a Machine Learning Engineer Intern at TikTok in summer 2021, contributing to a new recommendation algorithm for video content. Neehal is currently pursuing a PhD in Machine Learning at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, along with a Master's degree in Computer Science from Harvard University, where a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science was also completed. A high school diploma was obtained from Port Huron Northern High School in 2019.
