Rick Desai is currently the Managing Partner at Listen Ventures, a consumer venture capital fund. In addition, Rick is an Adjunct Professor at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, teaching New Venture Development. Rick is also the Managing Partner and Co-Founder at Dashfire, an early stage investor providing technical extension and strategic guidance to entrepreneurs. Prior to these roles, Rick served as a William J. Clinton Fellow at SAATH, a non-governmental organization in India, and as a Private Equity Associate at Madison Dearborn Partners. Rick began their career as an Investment Banking / Leveraged Finance Analyst at Lehman Brothers. Rick holds a BSBA in Finance, International Business, and Psychology from Georgetown University.
