Mark Power is the Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive of Liverpool John Moores University.

A specialist in higher education leadership, Mark has driven significant innovation to enhance the student experience. Mark works closely with JMSU and is an advocate for the university’s health and wellbeing, EDI and social mobility agendas. As Chair of the Incident Management Team Mark has led the university's response to the pandemic.

Mark is a Director of a number of companies and is a Board member of the Knowledge Quarter Liverpool, Sciontec Liverpool and Unitemps Liverpool. He is also a Trustee of the John Moores Liverpool Exhibition Trust. He is a member of the Association of Heads of University Administration and a Regional Councillor for the Confederation of British Industry (CBI)

Mark has a degree in Fine Art, an MBA and has recently been appointed as an honorary Professor of both Shanghai University of Engineering and Science and Yunan Agricultural University.
