Dave Land

Dave Land is a seasoned professional in user experience and digital content, currently serving as the Director of User Experience at LiveWorld, Inc. since January 2004, where focus is on designing user-friendly social content marketing tools. Prior experience includes co-founding Senti-Metrics Partners, where technology was rebranded as "Advanced Conversation Analysis" after acquisition by LiveWorld. Land has held various roles in prominent companies such as Sun Microsystems, where leadership was provided to a community focused on Java technology, and multiple positions at Apple Computer, including Publisher of AppleWeb. A solid foundation in media production was established earlier in career at Hewlett Packard and Apple Computer, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing and Editing from Carnegie Mellon University.
