Living Proof
Zhaoxia Ji has a diverse work experience spanning several years and industries. In 1999, they started their career as a Chemical Engineer at Sinopec Yangzi Petrochemical Co., Ltd. Zhaoxia then worked as a Technical Support at Shanghai Kankun Trading Co. in 2002. In 2003, they joined Northeastern University as a Ph.D. Candidate & Research Assistant. After completing their Ph.D., Zhaoxia Ji joined University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2009 and held various roles such as Research Scientist, Research Manager, and Nanomaterial Core Director at UC CEIN. At UCLA, they contributed to the development of solution-based synthesis techniques for nanoparticles, engineered adjuvants for vaccine applications, and synthesized various nanomaterials for studying their properties. In 2016, Zhaoxia Ji joined Living Proof, Inc. and has held roles including Sr Research Scientist, Principal Scientist, and currently serves as the Director of Research, starting in January 2020.
Zhaoxia Ji began their education at East China University of Science and Technology, where they completed a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. Following this, Ji enrolled at Northeastern University and obtained a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering in 2004. They continued their studies at Northeastern, completing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical Engineering in 2009.
