Konstantinos Giannakopoulos is a data scientist with extensive experience in maritime data analysis, currently employed at Lloyd's List Intelligence since October 2021, where responsibilities have included the development of statistical and machine learning models for vessel fuel consumption and the implementation of NLP techniques for customer feedback analysis. Prior roles included serving as a data analyst at UCL Changemakers, where research focused on student perspectives, and as a junior data scientist at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, contributing to traffic data analysis and co-authoring a publication on machine learning methods. Konstantinos holds a Master's degree in Statistics from UCL and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Additional experience includes military service and tutoring students in mathematics.
