Mark Nicol

Mark Nicol is a Principal at LMN Architects since November 2018, bringing extensive experience in architectural design and education. Previously, Mark served as a Lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania from August 2012 to December 2020, leading graduate design seminars that integrate design with technology. As a Senior Associate Principal at KPF from June 2012 to September 2018, Mark contributed to various projects with a focus on advanced digital media and innovative workflows, while also being a founding member of the Young Designs Forum and KPF Lab. Earlier in the career, Mark worked at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP as an Architecture Design Professional, involved in projects that ranged from international competitions to the documentation of significant built works. Mark holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Illinois Chicago.
