Dean Baldovin

Dean Baldovin has extensive work experience in the technology and finance sectors. Dean began their career in 2001 at Washington Mutual Bank, where they served as a Manager for Requirement, Analysis, and Testing, and later as an AVP for Reporting. In these roles, they led technical teams and utilized analytical skills to deliver quality products and consolidate data systems.

In 2003, Dean joined Ameriquest Mortgage Company as a BSA Lead and later as a Senior Technical Project Manager. During this time, they led teams in delivering large-scale software deployments and successfully scaled and grew the company.

Dean then worked at Washington Mutual Bank as a VP of Project Management and PMO, where they managed teams and the PMO with budget and governance responsibilities.

In 2009, Dean joined J.P. Morgan as a VP of Business Systems and later as a Commercial System Lead. In these roles, they led teams of technologists in delivering new features and maintaining systems, using Agile methodologies and SCRUM to provide best-in-class products.

Since 2015, Dean has been working at loanDepot, first as a Director of Product, Systems, and Analysis, and currently as a Director of Technology Product. Dean has managed teams in delivering features and products on time and on budget, enabling the company to become the number 2 non-Bank Lender in the US.

Throughout their career, Dean has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic planning, and analytical skills, contributing to the success and growth of the organizations they have worked for.

Dean Baldovin attended California State University, Fullerton from 1986 to 1990. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Systems, Finance & Economics.
