Callie Starnes is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in journalism and management. Currently serving as President & General Manager at Local 3 News since March 2015, Callie has previously held positions such as Station Manager, News Director, and Assistant News Director at the same organization. Additional experience includes a role as Relationship Manager at Derryberry Public Relations and various reporting and anchoring positions at Local 3 News and WMGT-TV. Callie began a career in media as an intern at WSB-TV. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Berry College and ongoing professional development through the Poynter Institute and The Carole Kneeland Project for Responsible Journalism, focusing on essential management skills and leadership.
