In May 2015, Kathryn E. Merchant stepped down after 18 years as President/CEO of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation. During 2015-19 she returned to strategic philanthropy consulting and executive coaching. The merchant was previously director of The Pew Charitable Trusts’ Neighborhood Preservation Initiative and a partner at consulting firm Holt, Wexler & Merchant. She is currently Managing Director/Editor of the book “Cincinnati’s Arts and the POWER OF HER” scheduled for publication in June 2020. Merchant received a BA from Indiana University and an MSW from the University of Connecticut.
