Brendan McEvoy

Brendan McEvoy is an experienced quality assurance professional with a strong background in software testing and application support. Currently serving as a Senior QA Engineer at Locate a Locum since November 2022, Brendan previously held roles as a QA Engineer at Global Payments Inc. and a Test Engineer at First Derivatives. Brendan's career began as a QA Tester and Application Support Consultant at First Derivatives before transitioning into the education sector as a Secondary School Teacher in IT for the Department of Education NI. Brendan’s earlier experience includes roles in customer service and bar staff. Educational qualifications include a PGCE in IT and Computing from Queen's University Belfast, a BSc in Interactive Multimedia Design from Ulster University, and a BTEC National Diploma in Computer Software Engineering from Southern Regional College.
