Steven Wrobel

Steven Wrobel is a Principal Scientist at LogicInk. Steven previously worked as a Research Associate at the Joint BioEnergy Institute from May 2015 to December 2015. There, they optimized growth conditions of SYK-6 bacterium to create biofuel precursors from renewable lignin-biomass. Steven also uncovered SYK-6’s unique metabolism by 13C labeling and RNA-seq, opening a path for lignin valorization.

Steven Wrobel's educational career includes a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.
