Emily Kruger has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Emily is currently working at Loka, Inc. as the VP of Operations & Product. At Loka, they lead a global team of engineers and designers, specializing in AI/ML and DevOps. Emily joined the company in June 2021.
Prior to this, Emily worked at Advancing Women in Tech (AWIT) where they held multiple roles. Emily was the Head of AWIT Female Founder Initiatives starting from December 2021. Emily also served as the Head of the Seattle chapter from December 2020 to December 2021, and as the Head of Programming for the Seattle chapter from November 2019 to December 2020.
Emily also worked at Kaskada as the VP of Product from March 2019 to June 2021. Kaskada is a machine learning company that provides a collaborative platform for data scientists.
Before Kaskada, Emily worked at Amazon Web Services as a Sr Product Manager for Amazon Lightsail from March 2017 to March 2019. Emily also had a role in Product Marketing from August 2016 to March 2017.
Emily's earlier experience includes working as the Head of Product at BitTitan from December 2015 to August 2016, as the Head of Product Management for Service Provider products at Odin (formerly Parallels) from December 2014 to December 2015, and as a Product Manager for Panel products at Parallels from October 2013 to January 2015.
Prior to their roles in the tech industry, Emily worked at The Boston Consulting Group as an Associate from October 2008 to October 2010. Emily also co-owned and co-founded Inglenook Tile Design from May 2003 to October 2008.
Emily Kruger obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Engineering Sciences, Environmental and East Asian Studies (Chinese) from Yale University. In March 2016, they received their Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from Scrum Alliance.
