Santosh Nepal is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the shipping and logistics industry. Currently serving as the Business Intelligence Development Manager at Lomar Shipping since April 2015, Santosh specializes in software development for technical, financial, procurement, and commercial analysis, as well as managing a vessel information system. Prior to this role, Santosh was the Business Analyst - Manager at CMA CGM from April 2008 to April 2015, focusing on management and cost control. From April 2001 to April 2008, Santosh held the position of Manager at Globetech Services Ltd., overseeing procurement, sales, logistics, and IT, and was responsible for business process setup and contract negotiation. Santosh's educational background includes a course in Competence of Ships’ Superintendents from University College Isle of Man in 2013, alongside degrees in engineering and accounts from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and St. Paul's School, Darjeeling, respectively.

A 166-year-old shipowner and manager, it is also known for its technical management expertise and includes CB Maritime in Rijeka, Croatia, a dedicated crewing agency for the tanker fleet. Among our shared values, Lomar and Carl Büttner are both dedicated to growing the next generation of maritime leaders – including our Achim Boehme Scholarship program that is supporting shipping students at Hochschule Bremen - City University of Applied Sciences.
