Caitlin Bent

Caitlin Bent is an experienced environmental professional currently serving as the Environment Manager at London North Eastern Railway since July 2022, where responsibilities include developing and implementing a decarbonisation roadmap and supporting various environmental initiatives. Prior to this role, Caitlin worked at the Greater London Authority from November 2018 to July 2022 as Principal Policy and Programme Manager, overseeing a program to transition the GLA Group to renewable energy by coordinating major energy consumers in London. Previously, Caitlin held the position of Senior Project Officer at the Greater London Authority and contributed to the development of a new energy supply company for London, focusing on data utilization to assist fuel poor households. Earlier experience includes managing a team of data analysts at the Energy Saving Trust as Insight & Analytics Manager and working as an Assistant Transport Planner at JMP Consultants Ltd. Caitlin holds an MSc in Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford and a BA (Hons) in Geography from the University of Cambridge.
