Eric Benedetti

Eric Benedetti is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as CIO of Borsa Italiana and Head of Euronext Technology Solutions at Euronext since May 2021, Eric has held various leadership roles at the London Stock Exchange Group since September 2008, including CIO for Borsa Italiana and Capital Markets, as well as Head of Technology Product Management and Head of Trading Software Development. Prior to this, Eric worked at Borsa Italiana from July 1999 to August 2008, managing clients and market services. Early career experiences include serving as Head of Risk Management Services at Intesa Sanpaolo from January 1998 to June 1999 and as GL product manager at Cedborsa, where Eric contributed to the development of Borsa Stock Exchange trading systems. Eric holds a degree in Computer Science from Università degli Studi di Milano, earned between 1985 and 1989.
