Rob Marcotte

Rob Marcotte is a seasoned finance executive currently serving as CFO at Longtail Re since December 2023. Previously, Marcotte held the positions of Convex Re CFO and Global Controller at Convex Insurance from August 2019 to September 2023, overseeing financial reporting and management. Other notable roles include financial consultant at ThreeSeas Consulting in 2019, EVP Finance at Validus Reinsurance from 2006 to 2019, and VP Corporate Finance at AXIS Capital from 2003 to 2006, where significant contributions included transitioning the accounting function in-house to facilitate an IPO. Earlier experiences also include serving as Controller for Alphastar Insurance Group and as an Auditor at EY. Marcotte holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta.
