William Torrey

William Torrey is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the investment management sector. Currently serving as Managing Director and Senior Counsel for Institutional & International at Lord, Abbett & Co. LLC since July 2008, William has a robust background that includes roles as Senior Counsel and Associate General Counsel at the same firm. Prior to this, William was Associate Counsel at Robeco Investment Management from January 2004 to July 2008 and began a legal career at Skadden Arps as an Associate from September 1999 to June 2003. William holds a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School, completed in 1999, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Columbia University in 1996.
