Carlo Melbihess is an experienced executive in facility management and operational leadership within national laboratories. Currently serving as Executive Advisor at Los Alamos National Laboratory since September 2024, Carlo previously held the position of Director of Facilities and Site Services at Idaho National Laboratory from July 2011 to September 2024, overseeing a workforce of approximately 500 employees and managing diverse support services. Earlier roles include Deputy Associate Laboratory Director of Facilities and Operations at Brookhaven National Laboratory and Operations Director at PETRONAS Renewable Energy Laboratory. Carlo has also contributed to Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in various managerial and engineering capacities. Carlo holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering from the University of Washington.
