Saif Rahaman

Saif Rahaman is an accomplished researcher with a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at Los Alamos National Laboratory since September 2021, Saif previously held the position of Wallace Givens Associate at Argonne National Laboratory, focusing on decomposition strategies for large-scale multi-period grid optimization of AC power flow. Additional experience includes a research internship at United Technologies, where Saif worked on modeling and optimization of water-cooled chiller refrigeration cycles, an internship at Washington University in St. Louis involving the characterization of soot super aggregates in inverted flames, and a trainee position at Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited.
