Tyler Slocum

Tyler Slocum is an experienced research technologist at Los Alamos National Laboratory since August 2017, specializing in trace elements analysis and quality assurance for the Actinide Analytical Chemistry group. Previously, Tyler served as a quality assurance engineer overseeing multiple projects from 2017 to 2019. Prior to this role, Tyler was a quality control inspection specialist II at Areva, conducting mechanical and special inspections, and worked as a QA/QC inspector at INTERMECH, INC. overseeing quality control functions for NQA-1 clients. Early career experience includes positions as a quality control inspector at NDE Professionals Inc. and kennel manager at Hazel Dell Animal Hospital. Tyler holds a diploma from Skyview High School, earned in 2006.
