Iliana Limón Romero

Iliana Limón Romero currently serves as the Assistant Managing Editor for Sports and Sports Editor at the Los Angeles Times, a role held since March 2021, where efforts focus on supporting investigative sports journalism and enhancing coverage of Southern California sports in both English and Spanish. Previously, Iliana worked at the Orlando Sentinel from October 2007 to March 2021 as the Colleges Sports and Pro Soccer Editor, supervising teams recognized for their award-winning coverage and co-hosting a weekly video series. Earlier experience includes a position as a sports reporter at The Albuquerque Tribune from 2002 to 2007. Iliana holds a degree from The University of New Mexico, completed in 2002.
