Michael Butcher

Michael Butcher is an experienced professional in the banking and retail sectors, currently serving as Senior Manager Retail Projects at Lotterywest since September 2012. In this role, Michael manages the training requirements for a network of over 500 retail outlets, oversees the implementation of an e-Learning platform, and leads a team of five staff. Michael has a strong background in operational management, having previously worked as Senior Project Manager at Police & Nurses Credit Society, where responsibilities included managing web and electronic banking channels and fraud risk mitigation. Earlier experience at Westpac involved managing institutional banking relationships and overseeing branch operations. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Cyber Forensics and Information Management & Security from Murdoch University and an Associate Diploma in Business, Banking & Finance from TAFE NSW.
