Brechtje Haan

Brechtje Haan serves as the Group Legal & Public Affairs Director at Lotus Bakeries since January 2017, leading global Legal, Compliance, and Intellectual Property functions while reporting directly to the CEO and collaborating with the Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Previously, Brechtje held the position of Group Legal, IP and Communication Director at Lotus Bakeries, actively contributing to ESG transformation projects. Prior experience includes serving as Legal & Compliance Counsel at Azelis from September 2012 to December 2016, where responsibilities included developing a global compliance program and understanding the M&A process. Additionally, Brechtje worked as a Lawyer in the EU, Competition & Regulatory department at Simmons & Simmons, advising on competition law matters. Brechtje holds an MBA from Solvay Brussels School, a Postgraduate Degree in Business Law from the University of Antwerp, and various other law-related degrees from prestigious institutions.
