Laura Zaim

Laura Zaim currently serves as Sr. Director at Louis Dreyfus Company Ventures, focusing on investments in startups that enhance the safety, sustainability, and security of the agrifood value chain. Zaim has held various roles in the venture capital and food sectors, including Venture Partner at New Crop Capital and Unovis Partners, and Kirchner Food Fellow, where Zaim engaged in investment decisions impacting global food security. Prior experience includes co-founding WorkAmerica, a company connected with over 50 technical schools nationwide, and participation in the 500 Startups accelerator. Zaim holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology from Washington University in St. Louis.
