Wei Peng

Wei Peng is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sustainability and strategic management across various sectors. Currently serving as the Global Head of Sustainability for Grains & Oilseeds and Group Land Management Lead at Louis Dreyfus Company since June 2021, Wei Peng also holds a position as a Steering Committee Member for the Tropical Forest Alliance, a global initiative aimed at combating commodity-driven deforestation. Previously, as the Global Head of Sustainability at COFCO International from June 2015 to April 2021, Wei Peng led sustainability efforts, developed corporate strategies, and facilitated sustainable financing. Earlier roles included a Senior Consultant with the UN Environment Management Group and Regional Lead for UNEP FI, where insights on green finance were provided. Wei Peng's academic background includes a Master's degree in Development Studies from the Geneva Graduate Institute and a Bachelor's degree in International Economics from China Foreign Affairs University.
