Jacquelyn Quarles

Jacquelyn Quarles is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in environmental law. Currently serving as Deputy General Counsel at Louisville MSD since May 2019, Quarles oversees legal matters related to public service. Prior to this, Quarles held the position of Deputy General Counsel at the Energy and Environment Cabinet from January 2016 to May 2019, following roles as Assistant Director and Attorney Manager within the cabinet, where supervision of attorneys and legal research on federal regulations were key responsibilities. Quarles began their legal career as a Staff Attorney for the Division for Air Quality, focusing on enforcement and permitting litigation. Quarles earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from Vanderbilt University.
