Michael Woocher

Michael Woocher is the current Trustee at Lovett. Prior to this, they were with GenSpring Family Offices and SunTrust Bank from December 2012 to December 2014 where they were the Head of Client Development. In this role, they were responsible for launching a business development strategy that united GenSpring with the corporate and investment banking unit within SunTrust Bank. Michael also managed a team that developed and delivered new investment marketing materials and published over 20 White Papers on key topics affecting family office clients.

In addition, Woocher redesigned compensation architecture for Managing Directors of Client Development to provide greater reward for higher levels of performance while mitigating expense for modest performance. Michael also chaired the Pricing Committee responsible for approving non-published pricing for new clients and material pricing adjustments for existing clients. Lastly, they recruited four Managing Directors and one Associate to increase level of talent within Business Development Team.

Michael Woocher attended the University of Georgia School of Law and received their Doctor of Law degree. Michael also attended Emory University and received their Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government. Michael Woocher is also a Certified Financial Planner.
