As chief legal officer & corporate secretary, Juliette Pryor leads the company’s legal, compliance, government affairs, corporate sustainability, enterprise risk management and privacy functions, and advises the board of directors. She joined Lowe’s in 2023.
Juliette has more than 30 years of legal experience. Most recently, she served as the executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary for The Albertsons Companies. Before joining Albertsons, she served as the general counsel of Cox Enterprises and as general counsel and chief compliance officer of US Foods. Previously, she worked at the law firm Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom and served as general counsel and corporate secretary at e.spire Communications. She started her career as in-house counsel at IBM Corporation and later served as legal adviser to the vice chairman of the U.S. International Trade Commission.
Juliette earned a bachelor’s degree from Fisk University and her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University, where she also received a master’s degree from the school of foreign service. She is a member of the Executive Leadership Council and chair of the board of trustees of Fisk University. Juliette also serves as a director of Genuine Parts Company.
