Scott R. Ross

Senior Vice President, Omnichannel Technology at Lowe's

As senior vice president of omnichannel technology, Scott Ross is responsible for providing technology support for Lowe's stores, digital, supply chain and services, including ProServices, merchandising and marketing. He has served in this role since 2017.

Scott has more than 20 years of retail technology experience spanning both direct channel and brick-and-mortar retail. Over his career, Scott has led successful technology modernization efforts across store selling systems (point of sale), merchandising and assortment planning systems, warehouse and logistics management, and he is currently leading our efforts for cloud native development of our most critical omni channel systems, including our digital platforms.

He joined Lowe's in 2011 and has served in various leadership roles, including vice president of international and new businesses and IT management, where he was responsible for leading IT strategy, development and support for Lowe's Mexico, Lowe's Canada and affiliated businesses in the U.S. Before joining Lowe's, Scott served as head of IT architecture, strategy and planning for L.L. Bean.

Prior to starting his technology career, Scott served in the U.S. Army with the 10th Mountain Division, achieving the rank of captain. Scott earned a bachelor's degree in management information systems from the University of Wyoming. He is currently an active board member for the Charlotte Area Technology Collaborative.
