Melline Fontes Noronha

Melline Fontes Noronha, PhD, is a Senior Bioinformatician at Loyola University Chicago since May 2022, leading bioinformatics efforts in the Wolfe lab. Previous experience includes serving as a Bioinformatics Specialist at the University of Illinois at Chicago from February 2019 to May 2022, and Bioinformatician roles at Universidade de São Paulo, CPQBA, and Laboratório de Genômica e Expressão, where expertise encompassed genome assembly, data expression analysis, metatranscriptomic, and metagenomic analysis. Additionally, Melline's background includes a Visitor student position at Argonne National Laboratory and software programming at the Tribunal of justice of Sergipe. Melline holds a PhD in Bioinformatics from Universidade Estadual de Campinas and is pursuing a Certificate in Data Science at Loyola University Chicago.
