Mitchell Denning

Associate Dean For Graduate Education at Loyola University Chicago

Mitchell Denning is a seasoned academic and researcher with extensive experience in the field of cancer biology. Currently serving as Associate Dean for Graduate Education and Professor in the Department of Cancer Biology at Loyola University Chicago since October 1997, Denning has also held positions such as Interim Chair of the Department of Molecular Pharmacology and Neuroscience and Graduate Program Director for the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Program. Prior to this, Denning served as Interim Vice-Dean for Research and held various academic ranks, including Associate and Assistant Professor, at the Stritch School of Medicine. Earlier career experiences include a Postdoctoral Research Associate role at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine and a Postdoctoral Fellow position at the National Cancer Institute. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Human Cancer Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Arizona.
