Jay Brown

Jay Brown is an Associate Professor of Operations Management at Loyola University Maryland since July 2013, focusing on research in stochastic modeling of the last mile problem, green supply chain management, cellular manufacturing, and mathematical programming of transportation systems. Jay Brown teaches various courses, including Operations Management and Operations Management & Process Strategies, and is a member of professional societies such as DSI, INFORMS, and POMS. Previous positions include Assistant Professor of Operations Management at Kent State University and Associate Director of Admissions at The University of Akron, with earlier roles in supply chain planning and production scheduling. Jay Brown holds a Ph.D. in Operations Management, an MBA in Business Administration, and a BBA in Operations Management, all from Kent State University.
