Vantonnie Smith has held various roles in human resources throughout their career. Vantonnie started as an HR Manager at Cox Target Media in 2001 and worked there until 2007. Vantonnie then worked as an HR Manager at IWCO Direct for the entire year of 2008. Following that, they joined Superior Essex as a Human Resources Manager in December 2008 and worked there until March 2017. Most recently, they have been working as the Director of Human Resources at LS Cable & System USA since April 2017.
Vantonnie Smith obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. In addition to their degree, they also hold certifications as a SHRM Certified Professional from The Society for Human Resource Management, which they obtained in July 2015, and as a Professional in Human Resources from the Human Resource Certification Institute, which they obtained in July 2012.
