Brian Montgomery, PE, CSP, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in fire protection engineering and emergency management. Currently serving as a part-time Fire Protection Engineer at LS Systems and a General Engineer at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Brian has also held various roles including Mishap Program Administrator and Fall Protection Administrator. As a dedicated volunteer firefighter/EMT with the Ellicott City Volunteer Fire Department since 2003, Brian demonstrates a strong commitment to community service. Notable past positions include Fire Protection Engineer at the Social Security Administration and BFPE International. Brian's educational background is robust, featuring multiple degrees in Fire Protection Engineering, Homeland Security, Management, Crisis Management, and a recent Certificate in Forensics from Stevenson University.
