Joe Carvalhido currently serves as the President and CEO of the LSU Alumni Association since October 2021. Prior to this role, Joe held various positions at the Tiger Athletic Foundation, including Vice President of Operations and Services, Director of Operations, and Assistant Director from April 2008 to October 2021. Joe's career in sports management began with a position as Director of Basketball Operations for LSU Women's Basketball from July 2000 to April 2008 and included experience as a Graduate Assistant with St John's University Women's Basketball from May 1999 to June 2000. Joe earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management from St. John's University between 1995 and 1999.

Welcome to the LSU Tiger Nation! The LSU Alumni Association is a vibrant organization supported by former LSU students, family and friends. The LSU Alumni Association, is privately funded and supports the university in the pursuit of excellence in teaching, research, and public service to future and current alumni through scholarships, professorships, social and professional networking events. The alumni association is supported through self-generated income and donations from future alumni, graduates, former students, faculty and friends of the university. These contributions directly support university programs, special projects and over 350 prestigious scholarships for prospective students around the world. The LSU Alumni Association also provides many valuable resources for alumni including professional networking, chapter affiliation across the globe, the Traveling Tigers sports trips, Lod Cook Hotel and retail discounts and the LSU Alumni Magazine.
