Anna Castrillo Bartel, PhD has a diverse work experience. Anna started their career at Louisiana State University in 2011 as an Academic Officer and later became the Assistant Vice Provost. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Strategic Analytics. In addition, Anna also worked as a Data Analyst for the LSU Covid Response Team. Anna has also gained experience as the Assistant Editor of the Journal of Student Financial Aid.
Dr. Anna Castrillo Bartel has an extensive education history. Anna earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in International/Global Studies from Louisiana State University from 2003 to 2007. Anna continued their education at the same institution and completed their Master of Arts degree in Political Science from 2008 to 2011. Dr. Bartel further pursued higher education and obtained their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Educational Research and Leadership from Louisiana State University from 2016 to 2020. Additionally, they hold a Rising Higher Education Fellowship Certificate, obtained in 2022.
