Associate Dean, College Of Art & Design at LSU

Kristen (Kelsch) Mauch, NCARB, serves as the Associate Dean and Associate Professor of Practice at the College of Art & Design, Louisiana State University, since August 2010. Alongside roles as Undergraduate Coordinator and Professional-in-Residence in the School of Architecture, Mauch also instructs students. Since August 2014, Mauch has held the position of Director of Operations and Strategic Partnerships at the Ripple Effect Water Literacy Project, which aims to educate and empower future water-literate leaders in response to climate change. Previous experience includes serving as Design Education Lead and Designer at Jahncke & Burns Architects, LLC from May 2012 to June 2018, and as an Intern Architect there, alongside a summer internship at Communityworks in 2008. Mauch holds a Master of Architecture from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Civilizations and History of Art and Architecture from Boston University.
