Nathaniel Gilbert PhD is currently serving as the Beamline Manager at LSU-CAMD, where Nathaniel operates and maintains a macromolecular beamline. Nathaniel also holds positions as a Senior Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Louisiana State University and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. With a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology from Louisiana State University, Nathaniel has a strong background in developing molecular tools, biophysical and biochemical characterization of proteins, and designing novel inhibitors for the treatment of diseases. Additionally, their experience at Molecular Sensing, Inc. involved the development of binding assays and characterization of drug-target interactions for pharmaceutical clients.
